 We know you may have questions about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and what it means for you as an Artventures guest or instructor. As the situation evolves, this page is the best place to learn more about Artventure’s policy.

More information is coming out every day, and that can make this a confusing time to attend and host classes. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and share updates as we have them. In the meantime, we’re asking our community to be considerate to instructors and guests who need to reschedule.

About our studios

Our studios are mostly intimate and host up to 8 guests at one time, there might be times that are busier than others. If you are concerned about contact with others as you’re self isolating, please email us at to find out roughly how many guests might be at the studio when you come. You also have a choice to upgrade to a private session for a small fee. Your appointment might need to be rescheduled to accommodate this request.

What does this policy mean?

Classes can be rescheduled without charges, by guests and instructors who:

  • have recently come from impacted areas;
  • exhibit any cold / flu like symptoms;
  • are worried about any contact with others;
  • need to take care of a friend of a loved one infected with the virus.

What happens when a class booking that falls under our extenuating circumstances policy is canceled?

  •  If the class is cancelled by Artventures, the guest will be given the next available date, they can reschedule it to a time / date most suitable.
  • If the guest cancels, they can pick a new date immediate or cancel and receive a full credit equivalent to what they paid or voucher for the same discounted class, which can be applied to any future class. There is no expiry of the credit.
  • Both guests and instructors are asked to give ample notice (preferably 48 hours) if they think they might not be able to attend or teach a class.

Given the health and safety risks, we are asking all instructors and guests to please review your local authorities' travel guidance and health advisories, in addition to global guidance from the WHO.
