This immersive class invites you to discover the ancient and mesmerizing art of mosaic-making—where tiny pieces come together to form stunning, vibrant designs. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop offers the perfect mix of guided instruction, creative freedom, and tactile joy.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn the art of mosaic from the ground up. The class begins with a brief introduction to the history and techniques of mosaic-making, followed by a demonstration on design planning, tile-cutting, and adhesive application. You’ll be provided with a base surface—such as a trivet, frame, coaster set, or small wall panel—along with an assortment of colorful glass tiles.

From abstract patterns to floral designs or geometric symmetry, you’ll sketch your idea or work intuitively to bring your vision to life. Our instructor is there to assist you with layout ideas, color balance, tile-cutting techniques, and grouting tips.

Once your design is complete, you’ll set the pieces in place using high-quality adhesive. Depending on the type of workshop and time frame, you’ll either complete grouting on-site or take home materials and instructions to finish the piece once your adhesive has cured.

• Most mosaic workshops run approximately 1 hour, depending on complexity.
• Some pieces may require grouting after the session, which can either be done in-studio (for multi-day sessions) or at home with a take-home kit and instructions provided.
